AVA Media: The UN Human Rights Council discussed the human rights situation in Afghanistan in its session on Monday, 29 April, 2024.

Afghanistan's representation at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva told the media that Afghanistan is one of 14 countries whose human rights situation is being reviewed for the fourth time.

According to a report published by Fox News, it indicates that the Taliban was criticized at this session for "human rights violations," and Washington has accused this group of depriving women, perpetrating violence against women and girls.

The UN Human Rights Council report states that the behavior of the Taliban government is considered one of the most oppressive countries in the world for women.
