 The World Food Program: Monthly Help with Six Million People in Afghanistan

According to world food program six million people receive food and cash every month. World food program aid in Afghanistan is provided by America, Japan, Canada, Finland and Sweden. Officials in the world food program also said that during the current year, more than 450000 needy and vulnerable will be supported through the public capital letter.

According the report of the united nation office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs (OCHA). At least 24 million people in Afghanistan need humanitarian support this year. According of this organization about 15.8 million will face food insecurity.

On other hand many reliefs organization have said that they cannot provide humanitarian aid to all the needy people in Afghanistan due to lack of funds. Meanwhile the united nation office for the coordination of humanitarian Affairs had requested 3.06$ billion in aid to address the needs of those in need.
